The Greeley Family FunPlex isn’t your typical community recreation center. Located within the Twin Rivers Community Park, there isn’t a better location for family fun. This facility offers equipment rental, towel purchase, lockers (bring your own lock) and child care.

Adventure Island Indoor Waterpark

Splash into fun at Northern Colorado’s greatest indoor waterpark! Adventure Island Waterpark at the Family FunPlex is a tropical oasis tucked away in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. At our warm water pool, families can take a spin around our lazy river, children can explore our zero depth pool and play structures, and everyone over 48-inches tall can take a ride down one of our massive indoor waterslides! Not only that, but our waterpark also features a water basketball court, a 25-meter lap pool, and an outdoor patio area perfect for picnics. It's no wonder why the whole family will find something to enjoy at Adventure Island!

Children under 5 must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult. Swimsuits Required. 48-inch height requirements for the waterslides. Children must be 48-inches tall to be in lazy river unsupervised.

Lifeguard Training

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Take a Red Cross certified course that uses hands-on training to prepare becoming a lifeguard. Prerequisite: 300-yard swim, tread water for 2 min. and complete a timed events. Age 15+.

Lifeguard Instructor Training

This course trains lifeguarding instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguarding class. Candidates must be a minimum age of 17 years, possess a current Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or an equivalent certificate from another organization and complete the online session (two hours) for the Lifeguarding Instructor course. Access code for the online portion will be given to candidates after registration. Please call Justin Wells, Aquatics Supervisor, at 970-350-9411 with any questions. Age 17+.

Our Fieldhouse is a full size gymnasium equipped for any sports enthusiast and includes an indoor walking track.
The Family FunPlex Fieldhouse offers SportCourt flooring, a permanent dasherboard system and drop-down backboards, nets, and goals allowing youth and adults to play sports like basketball, volleyball, inline hockey, indoor soccer, and more! Spectator seating is also available.

Call to confirm additional open gym hours and fees. Please note that the Indoor walking/jogging track is only available to those age 16 and up.

Willie Morton fitness center has all the latest equipment to keep you in shape.

There are Fitness and SilverSneakers® classes available for all levels.

Fitness Classes
The FunPlex offers several classes for your fitness needs. Our Members get all Core Group Fitness Classes free! Non-members can pay the daily admission fee and take a class too! Just be sure to pick up a Fitness Card at the Front Desk for drop-in classes or register for our other classes by session deadlines. We offer Fitness and Silver Sneakers® classes for all levels.

River Run Miniature Golf

Putt through Poudre Canyon in our custom-designed 18-hole mini golf course that reflects Greeley’s water supply system.

The Mini Golf Course is open during the Family FunPlex’s normal building hours (Weather and course conditions permitting).

A monthly facility orientation will be held for SilverSneakers® participants. The orientation will provide a tour of the facility and an overview of the fitness equipment.

SilverSneakers® Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on their fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning and intermediate skill levels. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Yoga

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash®

Satisfy your aqua urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers lots of fun shallow-water movement to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required and a SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Circuit

This workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball. A chair is available for support, This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level and can be adapted depending on the skilll of individual participants. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Boom Move It®

A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. Move It is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Stability

Stability is the newest class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. Movements focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and suitable for nearly every fitness level. It can be adapted depending on the skill of participants. A chair may be used for balance and support. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® CardioFit

Try a safe and heart-healty aerobics class to energize your active lifestyle using low-impact movements that focus specifically on building upper-body and core strength plus cardio endurance. This is a higher intensity class than Classic and Circuit. Max-20.

Parents must be on site to use the Kid Kare program. 1 1/2-hour limit per visit for children ages 3 months to 9 years.

All Greeley Students get a discount at the Family FunPlex and Greeley Recreation Center. Our FFaR program offers an opportunity for kids to stay active and encourages a healthy lifestyle. Find out more about our Fun, Fitness and Recreation program and how it will benefit your child.

Twin Rivers Ball Park & Amphitheater

Imagine acres of grass, trees, trails and wetlands and then add a lake, kid’s sensory playground, picnic shelters, an amphitheater, giant artwork titled “Luminarias” and a softball complex. Top it off with the fantastic Greeley Family FunPlex, and you’ve got a terrific community park: that’s Twin Rivers Community Park!

During the summer months, enjoy local musicians as they perform in the amphitheater.

Additional Amenities include easy access to the Sheep Draw Trail and to an 18-hole Disc Golf Course in nearby McCloskey Natural Area.

Bike Share Program

Need a bike? We have one for you! We started a new bike rental program run by Turn Around Bikes in Greeley. For just $8 you can rent a bike, helmet and lock to get to work, school or tool around the Sheep Draw Trail and neighboring bike paths. You can check out a bike during normal business hours in the morning and return it before we close that night…it’s that easy!
