Greeley Recreation Logo

The Greeley Recreation Center is a 105,000 square foot full-service community center that includes a fitness room, racquetball, indoor pool, The Rock climbing wall, two gymnasiums and rooms to rent for parties, banquets, and special events. We also provide community programming for adults and youth.

Greeley Recreation Center Indoor Pool

We have a regulation size swimming pool with diving well and pool which make it a perfect place for practice and meets.

Our pool is usually where District 6 swim meets take place and is the home to the Greeley Recreation Swim & Dive Club. Amenities include: 25-yard pool, diving well and separate shallow area with ramp.

Children under 5 must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult. Swimsuits Required.

Due to Lap Pool closure at the Family FunPlex, the Greeley Recreation Center Pool will be open Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm and Saturday from 1-5pm. Lap Swim will be available from 6am-3pm those days as well. Thank you for your patience.

Swim Lessons

All Swim Lessons scheduled at the Family FunPlex (1501 65th Ave) are moving to the Greeley Recreation Center (651 10th Ave) during the FunPlex Lap Pool closure beginning Sat, Sept 16 through Tues, Oct 3. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Lifeguard Training

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Take a Red Cross certified course that uses hands-on training to prepare becoming a lifeguard. Prerequisite: 300-yard swim, tread water for 2 min. and complete a timed events. Age 15+.

Racquetball Courts

We have two glass-end racquetball courts along with equipment rentals. Reservations can be made every hour on the hour, up to two weeks in advance by calling 970-350-9400.

Rock Climbing Wall

We have a state-of-the-art climbing wall, coined “The Rock” and we offer classes and programs throughout the week.The Rock Climbing Wall is open during facility hours for bouldering and climbing. Top rope and lead climbing available (must be certified to belay). Certifications are good for one year.

Pizza & Family Climbing

The whole family can learn the basic skills of climbing together and experience some bonding time. Get more information or schedule a two hour session for your family by calling 970-350-9422.

Friday Night Youth Climbing Club

Enjoy a Friday evening climb with one of our energetic staff. This is not a certificate class, but a chance to learn some of the basics or improve your maneuvers.

Night at the Rock – Women Only

Schedule a night out and learn tips about rock climbing with Greeley Recreation Center female instructors.

Fitness

Get pumped! Our weight room has plenty of machines to keep your workout busy. Come before or after work, or during your lunch hour.Our weight room includes a variety of equipment: Startek, Cybex, PreCor, weight machines, stair climbers, bikes and treadmills. Amenities include: Equipment rental, complimentary lockers (bring your own lock) and babysitting services.

Want to play a little hoops during the day? This is a perfect place to pick up a game! We have a full-size gymnasium and an auxiliary gym equipped for volleyball, pickleball and basketball for daily and members use.

Orientations

A monthly facility orientation will be held for SilverSneakers® participants. The orientation will provide a tour of the facility and an overview of the fitness equipment.

Greeley Senior Activity Center second Monday of each month from 9-10am.

SilverSneakers® Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support. Requires 5 to 24 participants.

Children's Room

Parents must be on site to use the Children’s Room program. 1 1/2-hour limit per visit for children ages 3 months to 9 years.

Archery Range
The Greeley Archers club was established in 1976 and are members of the National Field Archers Association and Colorado Bow Hunters Association. With two ranges (indoor facility at the Greeley Recreation Center and outdoor at Hwy 85 and 42nd Street) they have everything you need. The club is family oriented and offers a wide range of archery opportunities and classes that include:

Bow hunter leagues
3-D tournaments
Bow Hunters Education
Pistol Range

Our indoor range is a rifle range supervised by certified instructors affiliated with the Columbine Rifle and Pistol Club. All activities are run on an individual basis and all patrons are required to register at the Greeley Recreation Center Front Desk prior to entering into the range.
The Columbine Pistol Club offers the following classes and programs at the Greeley Recreation Center:

Concealed weapon permit course

No drop-in use is allowed without supervision by a range officer.
