The City of Greeley’s fall sports program registration will open July 6 for Volunteer Coaches and July 12 – for everyone else! The 2021 fall sports season has the following available for participation:
- Youth Soccer: Designed to maximize engagement, encourage skill development, and provide a platform for developing friendships and community. Birth years 2011-2017
- Co-Ed NFL Flag Football: Players enjoy the fast-paced nature of football in a non-contact environment. Age 6-11
- Adult Softball: Get your team together for a season of slow-pitch softball. Age 16+
The city has a great new sports team ready to go with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. And access has never been easier. Register online at MyGreeleyRec.com or in person at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Ave, or the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave. Cash or checks are accepted if you register at a facility; credit or debit cards to register online.
Youth Assistance Program
Need a little help with registration fees? Greeley Recreation has a scholarship program for residents that qualify for the school district’s Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Find out more about the Youth Assistance Fund and print out your application to apply. Each qualified student receives up to $150 per year! We hope to see you out on the fields this fall. Registration ends Aug. 2.
Coaches Needed
Volunteer Coaches are needed to help get their youth sports programming underway. So if you’ve had previous experience or enjoy working with kids in a meaningful activity, we need you! Just fill out the online application to get started. Greeley Recreation staff is here to help you and your team succeed! They’ll offer equipment, skills, and drills you can run with your team and scheduling assistance for practices and games. Be sure to get to know our Sports staff so that they can be with you every step of the way!
