Greeley Recreation is bringing back child care services to the Family FunPlex, beginning on Tuesday, September 7. Child care services are available:

  • Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday-Thursday 5 – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Parents can enjoy the convenience of on-site, drop-in child care while working out at the FunPlex.  The service is for children ages 6 months to 9 years old. There is a 90-minute limit per visit.  Parents must be on the site, while their child is in our care.  Greeley Recreation members can use the FunPlex childcare for free. Non-members pay $3.50 per hour per child.

The child care space is a positive and fun place for children filled with various age-appropriate activities, toys, and books. An adjacent, enclosed playground is available as well.

The FunPlex child care center staff are City employees that have completed a background check, are certified in CPR and First Aid, and have prior child care experience.

The child care center uses Brightwheel software to make check-in and check-out uncomplicated and secure. Parents/guardians will be able to build profiles for their children, and each parent will have their own designated pin to ensure safety when picking up children.

Any sick children will not be allowed in the Family FunPlex child care. Greeley Recreation staff and management reserves the right to refuse children who could possibly place others at risk for illness. This includes, but is not limited to, symptoms like a bad cough, fever, discolored runny nose, or any other COVID-like symptoms.

Snacks can be brought into the facility with children, as long as they contain the original nutritional label. Items that contain peanuts will not be permitted. Snacks are not provided by child care staff, however, water is available.
