The Greeley Recreation Center is a 105,000 square foot full-service community center that includes a fitness room, racquetball, indoor pool, The Rock climbing wall, two gymnasiums and rooms to rent for parties, banquets, and special events. We also provide community programming for adults and youth.

Wanna swim some laps? We got you covered. The Greeley Recreation Center Pool is home to both the Greeley School District Swim Team as well as the Greeley / Loveland Swim Club. At the city's only 8 lane 25-yard competition pool, swimmers of all abilities should feel welcome to swim our calm waters at their own pace.

The pool also features a 12-foot diving well with diving boards and an adjoining shallow pool that is perfect for younger kids to learn, swim, and just have fun! Avoid the noise and crowds at other pools and stop on by the Greeley Recreation Center today!


Children under 5 must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult. Swimsuits Required.

Lifeguard Training

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Take a Red Cross certified course that uses hands-on training to prepare becoming a lifeguard. Prerequisite: 300-yard swim, tread water for 2 min. and complete a timed events. Age 15+.

Lifeguard Instructor Training

This course trains lifeguarding instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguarding class. Candidates must be a minimum age of 17 years, possess a current Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or an equivalent certificate from another organization and complete the online session (two hours) for the Lifeguarding Instructor course. Access code for the online portion will be given to candidates after registration. Please call Justin Wells, Aquatics Supervisor, at 970-350-9411 with any questions. Age 17+.

Racquetball Courts

We have two glass-end racquetball courts along with equipment rentals. Reservations can be made every hour on the hour, up to two weeks in advance by calling 970-350-9400.

Rock Climbing Wall

We have a state-of-the-art climbing wall, coined “The Rock” and we offer classes and programs throughout the week.The Rock Climbing Wall is open during facility hours for bouldering and climbing. Top rope and lead climbing available (must be certified to belay). Certifications are good for one year.

Friday Night Youth Climbing Club

Enjoy a Friday evening climb with one of our energetic staff. This is not a certificate class, but a chance to learn some of the basics or improve your maneuvers.

A monthly facility orientation will be held for SilverSneakers® participants. The orientation will provide a tour of the facility and an overview of the fitness equipment.

SilverSneakers® Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on their fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning and intermediate skill levels. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Yoga

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash®

Satisfy your aqua urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers lots of fun shallow-water movement to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required and a SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. Max-20.

This workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball. SilverSneakers® Boom Move It®

A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. Move It is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Stability

Stability is the newest class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. Movements focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and suitable for nearly every fitness level. It can be adapted depending on the skill of participants. A chair may be used for balance and support. Max-20.

Get pumped! Our weight room has plenty of machines to keep your workout busy. Come before or after work, or during your lunch hour. Our weight room includes a variety of equipment: Startek, Cybex, PreCor, weight machines, stair climbers, bikes and treadmills. Amenities include: Equipment rental, complimentary towels and lockers (bring your own lock).

Want to play a little hoops during the day? This is a perfect place to pick up a game! We have a full-size gymnasium and an auxiliary gym equipped for basketball, volleyball and pickleball for daily and member’s use.

There are two dance studios and two fitness rooms for fitness classes, tumbling and martial arts as well as a variety of classical dance classes for youth and adults, Tumbllenium for kids, and other assorted sessions for your enjoyment.


Fitness Classes

The Greeley Recreation Center offers several classes for your fitness needs. Our Members get all Core Group Fitness Classes free! Non-members can pay the daily admission fee and take a class too! Just be sure to pick up a Fitness Card at the Front Desk for drop-in classes or register for our other classes by session deadlines. We offer Fitness and Silver Sneakers® classes for all levels.

Children's Room

***Starting January 1st, Kid Kare at the Greeley Recreation Center will no longer be offered. Kid Kare will still be offered at the Greeley Family FunPlex. We are sorry for the inconvenience.***

Parents must be on site to use the Children’s Room program. 1 1/2-hour limit per visit for children ages 3 months to 9 years.

Archery Range
The Greeley Archers club was established in 1976 and are members of the National Field Archers Association and Colorado Bow Hunters Association. With two ranges (indoor facility at the Greeley Recreation Center and outdoor at Hwy 85 and 42nd Street) they have everything you need. The club is family oriented and offers a wide range of archery opportunities and classes that include:

Pistol Range

Our indoor range is a rifle range supervised by certified instructors affiliated with the Columbine Rifle and Pistol Club. All activities are run on an individual basis and all patrons are required to register at the Greeley Recreation Center Front Desk prior to entering into the range.
The Columbine Pistol Club offers the following classes and programs at the Greeley Recreation Center:
