In celebration of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, the Greeley Ice Haus, located at 900 8th Avenue, will host a few free events to allow community members the opportunity to experience some winter sports.

“This time of year is a great time to explore ice skating, figure skating, hockey and more,” said Mark Mann, Greeley Recreation manager. “We want to encourage the public to cheer for Team USA athletes as well, so we’ll be hosting some watch parties throughout the Beijing Olympics from Feb. 4-20.”

 Figure Skating Event
Jan. 22 • 1:45-4:45 p.m.
Learn to skate with our professional instructors, play games, skate through an obstacle course, and see a figure skating exhibition.

Sled Hockey Expo
Feb. 5 • 1:45-4:45 p.m.
Come try playing hockey on a sled. All ages and abilities are welcome to attend, basic instruction and equipment is provided. Then stay for a skills competition and watch a sled hockey game.

Classes

The Ice Haus offers a Learn to Skate program, figure skating, Cub Hockey for beginners, youth and adult hockey leagues, and more! Try out a new sport this winter and take a class.
