Active Adult Center Drop-in Activities

The Active Adult Center offers several drop-in activities for you to enjoy.

Pick one or several to choose from – the skies are the limit!

You can improve your skills or learn a new hobby.
Previous experience isn’t required, and you can join at any time!

 

Free Monthly Groups

  • Crafts & Needlework 
    Mondays, 1 p.m.
    Join us to make blankets, hats, and scarves for veterans and at-risk children and adults. Yarn, patterns, and supplies are provided for volunteers to make items for the donation.
  • Square Dancing
    Second Saturday September-May.  Please call Sheri if you are interested and want more information. 970-350-9437.
  • Senior Car Lovers Unite
    First Wednesday of each month.
    Join us to discuss cars and a variety of other topics. New members welcome.
  • Rock & Mineral Society Meeting
    First Thursday of Each Month (No July Meeting)
    This is an organizational meeting for anyone interested in rocks and minerals.
  • Knitting 
    Wednesdays, 9 a.m.
    Bring your needlecraft project and join us.
  • Photography Group
    Second Tuesday of Each Month
    Drop in. No reservations are needed.

    Monday-Friday

  • Bingo
    Thursdays, 12 p.m.
    Play Grocery Bingo with your friends; it’s just 25¢ suggested donation per card.
  • Newsletter Taping 
    Friday, TBA (check with the front desk, Friday changes each month).
    The AAC staff needs help once a month taping and putting member labels on 900 newsletters. It’s a great time to socialize and visit while volunteering. If you can help, please join us.
  • Keenage Singers
    Practice Tuesday 9:30-11am (no practices June, July, and August)
  • Cinema Tuesday
    Last Tuesday of each month at 1-3:30 p.m.
