Fun in the Sun (FITS)

Looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer? We have plenty of options in our summer camp program. Camps are hosted each year through summer break.

The Fun in the Sun Program is designed to engage and activate your child in recreational and educational programming, in a safe and fun environment during the summer months. The FITS program is offered at both the Rodarte Community Center and Anna Gimmestad Park. We provide a 9-week themed program that includes a broad range of creative arts, sports/recreational activities, swimming, camouflage learning, field trips, a fashion show, a talent show, and an end-of-the-summer celebration! We collaborate with the High Plains Library District and Weld County Food Bank, providing participants with daily nutritious breakfast and lunch. Register quickly; our program fills up fast! Age 5-13.
