Adult

Fall 2024

Men’s Basketball League

The City of Greeley Recreation offers an adult basketball league with 2 divisions.

Each team will be guaranteed 6 games, with a 1 game guaranteed playoff game.

Players are only allowed to play on one team per division.

Game times and schedule will be on TeamSideline.
Schedules for the entire season will be released a week before the season starts.

League Begins: week of August 25, 2024*
*no games on Monday, September 2 (Labor Day)

Early-Bird Registration: June 24 – July 14

  • Fee: $500 per team

General Registration: July 15 – August 12

  • Fee: $570 per team

Free Agent Monday Night League

City of Greeley Recreation is offering an Adult Basketball Free Agent League on Monday Nights.

Each team will be guaranteed 6 games and 1 playoff game.

Game times and schedules will be on Team Sideline and will be released the week before the season starts.

Players are only allowed to play on one team per night per league.

League Begins: week of August 25, 2024*

Fall 2024

Co-Ed Youth Recreational League

The City of Greeley is adding a division to our basketball leagues. The Co-Ed Basketball division is an introductory league for participants born in 2019. The league will use a 3v3 format of play, and games will be played in two 15-minute halves. Min-5, Max-8.

You can elect one of the two following league schedules:

  1. Monday practice/Wednesday game or
  2. Tuesday practice/Thursday game.

Game times will vary from practice time.

All teams are led by volunteer coaches.

Registration

Priority Registration: June 24-28
Please complete the priority registration roster form to register.

If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible for priority registration:

  • Volunteer Coach
  • Coach registering an entire team
  • Family registering 3 or more family members

General Registration: July 1-28
$10 late fee on registrations beginning July 29 – August 16
(Register by phone, in person at Greeley Recreation Center, Family FunPlex, or online)

Late Registration: July 29 – August 16

Season Begins: Week of August 26
First Games: September 4 or 5
Last Games: October 2 or 3
Team Size: Min-6, Max-10.

5 Games Guaranteed

  • Co-Ed U6 (Birth year 2019)

Equipment Required by each participant:

  • Athletic running or basketball shoes
  • Athletic shorts or pants
  • Greeley Recreation reversible youth sports jersey, $14 at Family Funplex or Greeley Recreation Center

Provided equipment* for all participants

  • Coaches bag (size 4 basketballs, cones provided to each coach)
  • 6 foot stand up baskets

*Included in the registration fee

Games will all be at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue, regardless of practice location.

Fee: $40 resident, $50 non-resident

Clinics are offered once a week and provide weekly opportunities for skill building and game play. All clinics are co-ed and led by Greeley Recreation youth sports team members.
