We now offer year-round soccer opportunities in addition to our classic Fall and Spring soccer Leagues. Adult

Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) Unified Soccer

Unified Adult Soccer will practice Monday Nights. If team numbers allow, we will participate in the Regional Special Olympics Tournament in Denver.

Unified Programs

“UNIFIED” – is a sports team that is made up of players with and without disabilities. These teams/leagues may work with rule additions and changes that support all players. Teams are made up of “athletes” and “partners.”

Athlete: A player on a unified team with a disability.
Partner: A player on a unified team without a disability.

Spring 2024

The City of Greeley Youth Sports team has aligned our recreational soccer leagues to the US Soccer Federation development initiatives.

Our league models maximize engagement, encourage skill development, and provide a platform for developing friendships and community. All teams are volunteer-led.

We have eight divisions open for registration. Look at the list below for the appropriate leagues for your young athlete.

Practice & Games

Practices are located throughout Greeley at various City of Greeley parks. All games will be held at Monfort Park.

Lil’ Kickers includes a 4 game guarantee. All other leagues have a 5 game guarantee.

*Please note that game times will vary from your scheduled practice time.

Equipment  

Required (responsibility of participant): 

  • Greeley Rec Youth Sports Jersey, $14, can be purchased at Family FunPlex or Greeley Recreation Center.
  • Jerseys are the same as the previous season, so if your child’s jersey still fits, reuse it!
  • Shin Guards – must be worn for all practices and games. 
  • Shoes – athletic shoes or rubber cleats. 
  • Soccer socks of any color.
  • Preferred (not required) – Participants to bring their own ball (size indicated with each age division specifics below).

*coaches will be provided with cones, soccer balls, and practice pennies

Lil’ Kickers U5 Co-Ed Soccer (Birth Year 2019)

Lil’ Kickers Soccer is an introduction league for participants with a 2019 birth year. Lil’ Kickers uses a 3v3 format of play, and games are two 12-minute halves. Participants will have a Monday practice/Wednesday game schedule or a Tuesday practice/Saturday game schedule with various practice locations. Games will be at Monfort, no matter what your practice location is. Game times will vary from practice time
Practice begins: Week of March 25
Game Guarantee: 4

U6 Co-Ed Soccer (Birth Year 2018)

U6 2018 Birth Year division is an introduction soccer league for participants with a 2018 birth year. 6U uses a 4v4 format of play, and games are two 15-minute halves. Participants will have a Monday practice/Wednesday game schedule or a Tuesday practice/Saturday game schedule, with practices on the first day of the week at various locations and games on the second day of the week at Monfort Park. Game times will vary from practice time.

Game Guarantee: 5

U8 Girls and Boys Soccer (Birth Years 2016-2017)

2016/2017 soccer is an introductory league for participants with a birth year of 2016 or 2017. We will have both a boys and girls division. This league will be a 4v4 format of play, and games are two 20-minute halves. Practices will be held on Monday/ Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday at various city locations. Games will be held on Saturdays at Monfort Park no matter what practice location you choose. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.
Practice begins: Week of March 25
Game Guarantee: 5

U10 Boys and Girls Soccer (Birth Years 2014-2015)

2014/2015 soccer is an introductory league for participants with a birth year of 2014 and 2015. We will have both a boys and girls division. Games will be played in a 7v7 format with goal keepers and will be played in two 25-minute halves. Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday at various city locations. Games will be held on Saturdays at Monfort Park no matter what practice location you choose. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.
Practice begins: Week of March 25
Game Guarantee: 5

U12 Girls and Boys Soccer (Birth Years 2012-2013)

2012/2013 soccer is an introductory league for participants with a birth year of 2012 and 2013. We will have both a boys and girls division. AIR Spring Soccer Clinics

Join Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) for six-weeks of soccer skills! Clinics are inclusive and designed for youth with disabilities in mind! These clinics will focus on the fundamentals of soccer and teamwork. Min-5, Max-20.
