Summer Scholars Program

The STEAM Summer Scholars program is a science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) initiative to serve middle school students (ages 11-14) at the Rodarte Community Center by collaborating with the University of Northern Colorado. This program is project-based; participants work closely together in hands-on problem-solving. Special field trips are planned related to the area of focus. Participants will also be able to participate in LEGO Mindstorm Robotics and 3D printing. This is an intro to basic programming and problem-solving strategies.
