T-ball and Coach Pitch

In the league, we’ll introduce young athletes to baseball in a fun and engaging way. They will develop essential skills such as fielding, throwing, base running, and hitting.

Participants have the option to meet on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays at a City of Greeley Park of their choice from the options provided in the league.

Games will begin the second week of the season and take place on either Wednesday or Thursday depending on your selected meeting days. Games schedules will be available during the first week of practices.

Games are at Twin Rivers Park or Pheasant Run Park.

Be sure to join us on Saturday, June 15 (Season 1) and Saturday, July 27 (Season 2) for our annual skills challenge and photo day at Twin Rivers Park.

This league includes 4 guaranteed games.

Priority Registration: April 8-12

Equipment Required by Participant:

• Greeley Rec Youth Sports Jersey
• Can be purchased for $14 at Family FunPlex or Greeley Recreation Center
• Rubber cleats or tennis shoes
• Baseball/Softball fielding glove
• Athletic shorts/pants (baseball pants suggested)

Equipment Provided:

• Greeley Recreation baseball hat
• Team batting helmets
• Team bats
• Team soft baseballs
• Team tennis balls
• Team hitting tee

Location: Games will be played at Twin Rivers Ball Field and Pheasant Run Park

Fee: $40 resident, $50 non-resident

 

June and July Clinics

T-ball and Coach Pitch Clinics are once a week opportunity for skill building and game play. All clinics are co-ed and led by Greeley Rec Youth Sports team members. Clinics do not include league game play.

AIR T-Ball Clinic 2024

Join Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) for T-ball and baseball skills! Clinics are inclusive and designed for youth with disabilities in mind. These clinics will focus on the fundamentals of baseball.
