Dinosaur Ridge Trail

Difficulty: Moderate
The site is world-famous for its Cretaceous period tracks and Jurassic period bones and remarkable geologic features. With more than 15 fossil and geologic sites, each marked by interpretive signage, there is nothing in the world like it. This hike is around 3.5 miles in length and has 698 feet of elevation gain.

Devil’s Backbone Nature Trail

Difficulty: Moderate
An extension to the Devils Backbone Interpretive Trail. After a short but fairly steep uphill you will enter a rolling plateau that has some awesome views of the CO foothills with Longs Peak in the background. If you’re quiet and observant, you may see some deer along with other wildlife. This trail is roughly 4.5 miles long with 570 ft of elevation gain. Please bring a bagged lunch. Min-6, Max-12.

Daniel’s Park Trail

Featuring some of the best views in Denver, you can see mountains upon mountains of Colorado’s front range! This is an easy-moderate level hike and is roughly 5.5 miles with 370 feet of elevation gain. Please bring a bagged lunch. Min-6, Max-12.

Lookout Mountain Trail

Difficulty: Moderate
Located in Windy Saddle Open Space Park, this short but amazing trail will offer hikers of all skill levels some beautiful panoramic views over the city of Denver and the surrounding hills and valleys. This is an easy to moderate 3 miles out and back trail with around 520 feet of elevation gain. Min-6, Max-12.

A $5 administration fee will be charged if a refund is requested. The administration fee is waived if an account credit is issued.
