The City of Greeley’s Rodarte Community Center’s Boxing Club had three participants win the Colorado Silver Gloves competition in Alameda, Colorado the first weekend in November. All three local boxers will advance to regionals in California in January 2024.

“We are thrilled to announce that Jovanni Plascencia, Mariah Contreras Maciel, and John Poland will be going to the next level of competition,” said Recreation Coordinator Dominique Padilla.

“Each of our boxers worked hard this season, and their success is an example of their drive and passion for the sport.”
