The Greeley Active Adult Center is committed to providing a variety of opportunities so being active can be a way of life. Adults aged 50 and above can socialize at the center, whether through trips or while participating in one of our many programs.
We offer a wide array of clubs, sports, SilverSneakers® fitness programs, special events, holiday lunches, ice cream socials, health and safety seminars, and travel opportunities including local and international excursions, lunches with Gabbie Gourmet, sporting events, museums and more.

Orientations
A monthly facility orientation will be held for SilverSneakers® participants. The orientation will provide a tour of the facility and an overview of the fitness equipment.
Greeley Senior Activity Center second Monday of each month from 9-10am.

SilverSneakers® Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on their fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning and intermediate skill levels. Max-20.

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Satisfy your aqua urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers lots of fun shallow-water movement to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required and a SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. Max-20.

A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. Move It is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout. Max-20.

SilverSneakers® Stability
Stability is the newest class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. Movements focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and suitable for nearly every fitness level. It can be adapted depending on the skill of participants. A chair may be used for balance and support. Max-20.
